Mcdonald part time 打工记

raya 期间， 不少餐厅都在广招兼职，KFC, DUBU DUBU, Sushi King, Madam Kwan, 但是我还是选择了麦当劳。 Mcd 食物不多， take order时也比较容易 ^^ 其实我不喜欢吃快餐， 几个月才会吃那一次，虽然打工期间每天都有免费午餐吃，但是都是面包，薯条，害到我现在更不想吃快餐了。

我这一次的任务是了解麦当劳的运作。


首先是我的outlet有五位team managers, 一位people manager，一位store manager.
Team Managers < People manager < Store Manager

原来一间麦当劳需要那么多managers来管理。

大致上有几种工作岗位：
1） Beverage
2) Cashier
3) Runner
4) French fries maker
5) burger maker

一开始我是负责beverage, 工作就是搬冰块，舀冰块进杯子，看看monitor display什么order，然后按键small/medium/large，最后关盖&serve. 单单做饮料一点都不容易！ Medium coke十杯刚做好，一分钟就被runner 拿完了~ TT  在准备medium coke的同时， 我也必须看看monitor有没有其他的order，比如说，冷饮，sprite/ Coke Light/ orange/ Ribena/ Ice Lemon Tea/ Iced Milo, 或热饮，coffee/tea/milo. 除了饮料，我也必须分ice/without ice, 还有分size, Small/ Medium/Large,各有不同的杯子。

 当十二点的钟声响时，就是McValue Lunch Rm5.95, 人潮汹涌！THE WAR BEGIN!

Cashier 的工作则是点order,收钱，如果顾客要现吃就放tray，如果是打包就放两包辣椒酱，， （runner看台上没有tray,自然而然就懂顾客是要打包），吃粥就放两包胡椒粉&汤匙，吃happy meal就要记得给玩具。 我的mentor教我当你看到顾客踏进门的瞬间，你就必须扬起右手然后高声一喊“Hi, Welcome to Mcdonald!",把顾客招到你的面前。^^ 一开始会很害羞， 过后习惯了~ 脸皮变厚了呱~ " hi, welcome, can i take your order please? set or ala carte? medium or large? coke?” 有些饮料不要放冰，薯条不要放盐，burger不要蔬菜，要加sauce或者不要sauce，粥要plain的，这些都要记得输入进order system so runner 不会拿错食物~

提了不少次runner, 大概明白runner 是干什么的了吧。runner就是负责run! 拿饮料，burger, 薯条， 有些order sundae cone/mcflurry, runner 就要挤ice cream， 放酱，拿去搅，serve. Runner真的是每一刻都在run, 脑中必须记得几样order, monitor是有得看order， 但是人多起来， runner只好看receipt 拿食物，比较快啊。做runner的期间，蛮压力的， 不会停的order, serve又必须快， 过后习惯了觉得自己很厉害，嘻嘻！ lan c! 吹啊~~  ^^

我没那个荣幸当burger maker , TT

french-fries maker 就是负责炸薯条，放盐，装起来，人多炸多，人少炸少。这一带很热，又油~ 炸薯条的锅都有timer,不会怕炸过头，放盐的道具也是经过精心设计，确保盐不会集中洒在一起。 原来薯条过了半个小时就会软掉，这时就必须倒掉全部变软的薯条，以确保顾客吃的薯条永远是新鲜的！ 我的manager的指导让我觉得mcdonald非常的有系统，high quality-control. 每次serve 顾客后， 都要敬一句“ thank you, please come again!" 不管是runner, beverage, cashier up to manager，serve & greet ! 非常有礼貌！当然一定要面带微笑！Smile~

dress code 是衣服必须塞起来， 头发绑起来， 穿黑鞋，化少许妆（女性啦）。

这里的manager都很好，不会面带凶恶， 乱射下属，反而他们都非常细心教导，面带微笑，麦当劳请到他们真的是太幸运了！麦当劳到底是如何训练manager的呢？
我也问了， 当team manager的requirement必须要是diploma holder。
从casual crew 做起就比较长时间。 ^^
读economic的，推荐去HQ做账或者做marketing. 胡说！ 读economic就只能做这几种吗？ 我们可是非常flexible 的！

一天打工八个小时很累的叻， 回家就睡，晚餐都不想吃了`，睡醒就打工。

Brands Outlet Opening@ Fahrenheit 88 -2012

im going to Fahrenheit 88 tomorrow all because of Brands Outlet's is giving out RM50 cash voucher for first 500 customer on the opening day! looks like Brands Outlet's is an affiliate company of Padini. Padini outlets had 50% discount on all items last week... and I missed it!! last time i managed to grab few shoes which is so cheap after 50% discount. now my shoes are so "dry", the color, shape, EVERYTHING! i have to buy a new shoe! i want to have orange high pumps like this. SO ELEGANCE! charming! suitable for attention seeker~

by the way, im not used to wear pumps like this. never buy any pump yet, is so FUCKING HARD to walk! even one inch of heels, i need to massage my leg for 1 hour after i walk with 1 inch heels in mall. will see. maybe i will wear sport shoe in my wedding?? hahaha!

have to wake up early in the morning tomorrow. WIsh me luck~~~~~~~ ^^

p/s: can't wait to hang out with my bff, Mekmek(huishan). FINALLY!

Uniqlo Mid Valley Opening 2012

before, i have to shop at Uniqlo, Fahrenheit 88 which is quite far from my place.
at 24 Mei 2012,  Uniqlo has opened a new branch in Mid Valley! This is very Great for me!
i love Uniqlo so Much! simple and stylish. who does not know Uniqlo??

In the opening day, Uniqlo gaves a SUPER BIG discount, almost on all item. people is queuing up to change, even after few hours , Uniqlo's staff starts to control the amount of customer to step in. THose discount is crazy GOOD! the store is quite big, an i dun know where should i start to shop?! but of course i managed to grab few pieces =)   ( after it, i was super super regret why i did not grab more)

then yesterday i went there to shop again, almost all item has back to original price but there is another discount item which is target for guy's. ( happy father's day lo) So, i grab two pieces for my fatty brother. there is a lot of color available and i duno know which one is suitable for him. finally i picked the safe color, Grey. Maybe grey makes him slimmer? perhaps..

luggage story- Cepat Sedia Sdn.Bhd.

well, last 2 weeks i almost LOST my luggage!!

why almost?

story is like this, i took bus from Changloon and it took around 7- 8 hours to reach Puduraya.
Of course all the way was so exhausting! so i fall asleep and kind of deep this time. I was still blur when i almost reach Puduraya.( I used to bring one backpack to KL, not luggage. This time i brought luggage coz i need to carry my books.) so when I reach Puduraya, i just came down and directly to my boyfie's car without take a glance to us anymore. Then once we off from Puduraya around 6 minutes, i wake up sudden in the car, and asked my boyfie,

" where is my Luggage!"

 " u bring luggage?"  

”Ya, i bring it! and it was still in the bus! "


Oh my GOSH! We quickly drove back to Puduraya to see whether the bus is still there. of course, the bus has gone, i duno, shah Alam, Klang?? then we tried to trace but FAILED~  so how could i sleep on  that night? where is my luggage？
my books??
how i prepare for my coming exam?
will someone called me to claim back my luggage?

 Next day, early in the morning, i went to Puduraya to find the in-charge person for my Bus which is Cepat Sedia, but after they told me there is no bus reach from Changloon last night.
 Eh~ sure?  isit i took Cepat Sedia or Cepat Express?
make me confused too. quickly i went to Bandar Tasik Selatan ( Cepat Express does not open any counter at Puduraya). Conclusion,   there is no one could help me find back my luggage!

I reached home with very sad look.... then i checked my bus ticket, called the changloon bus agency,
 " kak, yeaterday i take Cepat Sedia at 5.30pm right?"


"ya"


 " kak,  i lost my luggage, isit possible to find it back?'


"I dunoe leh but I can give u their office number, u call urself la "


 “OHYA! thankyou ya kak!"


then, i called someone called Mr. Baktri or Bakzi , someone like this, then he picked up the call and i realised that the bus has reached Johor Bahru!  walao!
so i asked isit my luggage is still inside and isit possible to take it back?

 he said the bus will go up to north on the next day, so if i wanna claim back my luggage, meet at 12am near to Jalan Duta Tol.


then, i successfully found my luggage!! very BIG thankyou to the bus driver and my boyfie too!
i know there is very low chance to find back my luggage. I have almost give up.
god loves me~  credit to Cepat Sedia Sdn. Bhd. bus driver.


p/s: Books is so worthy to me for this moment~ fighting time!

naked marriage+photo

Have u ever think bout have a naked marriages with ur soul mate? don't get me wrong, haha,
naked wedding means a marriage that juz need to get a marriage certificate, buying houses and cars or even holding a wedding ceremony. Young couples seems like prefer naked marriage because they cannot afford houses and cars.

Lets say my boyfie ask me to hav a naked marriage, mayb i will considered (i would rather save money for trip lo, why hav to spend a lot on wedding ceremony) but will my family accept this? no ans

My First Time- Eon's Spring Festival 2012

yeepiee~  finally i attended spring festival for the very very FIRST time in my uni life. everything was so Fresh+New for me. what, in end of April? ya, our university culture is like this, even though we had holiday on whole february(the spring time)  but this doesnt stop them for hold spring festival 2 months onwards.

im attracted to Eon's spring festival mainly because of a-fu~
when i said she's GOOD, it means she's really GOOD.
 i have never come across her song before until few weeks ago my roommate played it for me and it was like,, wao~ wat a special voice!
i hate the event arrangement when they put a-fu in the last part which is around 12am, DAMN!
she sang 如果有如果， oh happy, 青花瓷。everybody was like crazy and rushed to frontstage once a-fu came out on stage!

again, im a NEWBIE here. when we entered the hall, we got one goodies beg which included one mineral water inside like this..

then i was about to drink it, my friend stopped me,
'later u have to used that as dark-glow stick when a-fu perform'
'how? this water can glow in dark meh?'

do u know? now i know, they turned on the handphone light then put it under the water pack, then start to shake from left to right, right to left~  everyone know this and im the stupid one, are u the stupid one too?

in the Eon's event, there is a live comedy talk show by one Malay student? perhaps.
i was not giving high expecting but it turned out well~

今日头条， 禁足独立广场

警方已在昨日取得庭令，禁止淨選盟3.0在獨立廣場主辦“428靜坐大集會
根據庭令，獨立廣場周遭路段，包括蘇丹希山慕丁路、拉惹路以及俱樂部路（除了皇家雪蘭莪俱樂部）都屬於禁區；因此，庭令警告公眾人士從4月28日起至5月1日，不要出席、出現在及參與這些地區的任何集會。

今天是428，是净选盟3.0 靜坐大集會, duduk bantah.
我在前几天读了一篇文章， 作者写道 净选盟动机不简单，为何？就在前几天隆市长与净选盟主席开会商讨428靜坐大集會的地点， 隆市长要求/建议在Bukit Jalil Stadium但是净选盟主席却不肯让步， 坚持要在独立广场举行。最后搞得不欢而散。

结论是净选盟是在不被允许下，决定在独立广场进行428靜坐大集會。

隆市长的建议实为顾及大局。如果428靜坐大集會在独立广场进行， 势必带给民众不必要的麻烦。
举咧， 当全国上下都知道今天独立广场将会进行428靜坐大集會，当然会很塞车，很自然就选择呆在家，不出门闲逛，不消费了。
靠每天打拼的的士司机呢？预料会塞车，没人会选择搭的士。
遇上紧急事故的民众呢？ 或许会遇上塞车而错失良机。

就在昨日427, 12am,我路过独立广场，只是一条1 分钟的路段，我却整整塞了40分钟。

在想， 是什么原因搞得那么塞车啊？警察封路？ （话说过后才看见警察真的已经封路了， 只见警察围着人墙，准备阻挡任何想踏进独立广场的人士。）
所以咯。。全部人站哪？（虽说集会在428下午2pm,但是已经有百多人开始驻场了。）
路边咯~

 净选盟支持者就站在路边不停呐喊bersih bersih bersih, 高举黄旗写着” Occupy Dataran”, 在塞车的路段穿梭，不畏惧任何意外。因为他们已经堵住交通，车子完全无法动弹了。

好不容易挨了40分钟，终于看到了独立广场，终于看到为何塞车？ 果真。。。净选盟支持者分站路段左右， 手握拳头，迎向空中，高喊bersih, 迎接每辆驶过的车子,当下我的感觉是犹如V.I.P般，被热烈的欢迎。。。。。为了这个欢迎而浪费了我的40分钟。。。

我只想说，为民声冤的净选盟支持者， 当你们进行大集会时， 如果也造就了社会不必要的麻烦， 那你们跟其它 政治党派并无分别。

最后，我想说一路上也看到了一些头绑青带的人士，你懂吗？应该就是反稀土支持者。 加油！

BUSY BUSY BUSY

Hi, peeps, finally i have finished most of my mid term exam, still left one econometric paper and 3 assignment.
Wesak and Labor day is coming~~ and sadly i hav missed the opportunity to join bridal show in Spring Festival show and be a dynasty china's princess in a Buddhist night.

 Sounds cool! but i have turned it down...

Few days ago, CLESIC (Chung Ling Ex-Student Intervarsity Council) planned a simple gathering & this is the first time i joined, Seniors did a great job for this gathering,
one of my senior named Quah Swee Im, if im not mistaken, she cooked one pot (or three) of red bean+longan+pandan leaves soup. SUPER DOOPER NICE!
 It would be better if i could stay longer there, what could be better than meet my old fren, Jing Harn, Elaine, Pey Wen, Ping Fang, Wei Jun. and also my junior in UUM.

 at least this time they prepared sufficient food for everyone, ~clapp clap clap~
but most of it is processed food ( hotdog, ham, fish balls) and i DONT eat any of it, lol~
no more processed food in my life except BREAD  ^^

and STARBUCK is giving 50% discount for Frappucino on every friday, 5-7pm to everyone!

Have you ever think bout it? it's written that in 16th century, women hav servant to wear clothes for themselves, girls dont need to wear it by their own. and guys wear it by themselves. so in economic ways, is more easier to pin up a shirt if buttons is on right handside. xoxo      =)

Raining day in KL

I hate to walk under the rain, it's like im going to get fever within 5 minutes! honestly, the PH of rain is in the acid range, shouldnt ever think that walking under the rain isw a COOL act~ nah!
kind of disappointed day i hav when realised the recipient of my package didn claim the parcel on time, so after 14 days of working day, PostLaju sent it back to me( stupid sender). This is the thing, when u wan to give someone suprise, u hav to be ready for disappointment too! DON'T expect too much~
 feel heache when think of bunch of unfinished assignment  TT
